Doak S. Campbell Stadium

Tallahassee, FL

Doak Campbell Stadium, or "Doak" to its fans, is a pulsating cauldron of garnet and gold where the Florida State University Seminoles ignite every Saturday. Originally built in 1950 and named after the university's first president, the stadium has grown from a 15,000-seat venue to a roaring giant able to hold nearly 80,000 fans. In 2004, the field itself was dedicated to legendary coach Bobby Bowden, honoring his championship wins. Towering video boards and a surrounding brick complex, University Center, add to the electric atmosphere where the Seminoles have built a winning tradition.
