Beatrix brings together the everyday appeal of a coffee bar, bakery, restaurant, and meeting place under one concept. Its food menu pairs nutritious choices with satisfying flavors, while signature cookies and other bakery items are prepared in-house. The coffeehouse side of the business gives it another role beyond meals, making room for coffee and conversation throughout the day. The concept was developed by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises founder Rich Melman, along with Marc Jacobs and chef partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever, and Susan Weaver.
