Redhot Ranch traces its roots to 2005, when veteran restaurateurs Barry Nemerow and Jeff Greenfield set out to revive the original Chicago-style hot dog, including the simple “Depression dog” served with mustard, relish, onion, sport peppers, and fresh-cut fries. Their approach also brought back traditional touches such as natural-casing hot dogs and ceramic-crock cooking. The menu later grew to include the signature RHR Burger, built around fresh, crispy-edged beef patties and a special sauce.
